Analytic-Jungian Therapy is a type of psychodynamic therapy used for individual work. It is a creative psychological modality which emphasizes working with the unconscious to encourage authenticity and self-awareness.

This approach, based on the work of C.G.Jung, encourages clients to explore the unconscious, archetypes, and personal symbols to foster emotional healing and self-discovery.

Jung named his type of therapy, “Analytic Psychology” as a way of demonstrating the importance of analyzing all the components of the psyche in order to integrate them and move towards wholeness, or individuation. This name also served as a way to distinguish his psychology from Freud’s, “Psychoanalytic Psychology”.

Analytic-Jungian therapy can be viewed as a journey into your self.

Together we will explore all of the aspects of your life, and we will act as compassionate researchers attempting to ascertain how and why you think the way you do. We will also create a safe container together to allow for the amplification and integration of forgotten dreams, fears, and emotions.

This type of therapy is deep and can involve hard work which can result in lasting change and a renewed sense of self. We advise that clients attend sessions weekly or twice a week to start.
